Councillor takes action on Planet Pothole

Lib Dem Kent County councillor Mike Sole has taken unusual steps to highlight and report the huge numbers of potholes in his area.
"With potholes the size of craters in so many roads, things were looking more like the surface of the moon than Kent."
Using astronaut figures to recreate scenes from outer space, Cllr Sole reported over 100 potholes to KCC in just one morning from around Bekesbourne, Adisham, Barham and Kingston.
"Getting potholes repaired isn't rocket science", added Mike Sole, "The Labour government say that they are putting more money into it, and KCC say they are being repaired, but are they on another planet?"
"Potholes are especially dangerous to cyclists and motor cyclists, as well as causing costly repairs to motorists. Getting our roads back in a good condition requires just one small step by KCC, but would be a giant leap for local residents." Added Mike
